Why not just use group policies to secure Terminal Services? |
|
| |
Great question! You can! BUT..3 things that are important:
- Are you sure you locked 'everything' down and didn’t miss anything? And how long did that take you? Our software installs and configures in less than 5 minutes without any special skills and the only thing you need to do with a GPO is to restrict Control-Alt-End from having them run Task Manager.
- No 2nd desktop! When you deploy the desktop in Terminal Services you can easily confuse end users with a second Start button. Plus, think of the added overhead of running a second desktop versus just 1 applications that launches your applications. Much less resources being used!
- Many of your end users know that folders are Internet Explorer browsers and may use My Computer to surf them web off of your application server or browse to your C: drive and have access to system32 of your server! Our folder deployment prevents this from happening!

What companies can use this software and get the most out of it? |

This is ideal for any company that wants secure remote access, especially small companies that only have 1 server which is an application server as well as a DC. The pricing is ideal for both small and large companies and we sell just as many to both. Accounting firms have proved to be a popular niche. Also, it is great for LANs that have old computers they can’t afford to upgrade. |
